Description
It is an evergreen tree, found in the Himalayan region in India, grows up to 15 m tall. The leaves are silvery and look very attractive, flat, lanceolate, dark green in color, up to4 cm long and 3 mm broad and arranged spirally on the stem. The bark is reddish-brown, flowers are dioecious, flowering period is March-April, the fruits are berries, reddish and fleshy with a single green seed, the fruiting period is September- November.
