Description
Wild Cape gooseberry (Physalis minima Linn.) is a perennial weedy herb, pan-tropical annual herb grows to 20 to 50 cm high, commonly found in disturbed areas. Leaves are pale green, soft and jagged margins, size 2.5 to 12 cm long. Flowers are Creamy to yellow, 5mm wide, flowering is July to October; fruits are edible, yellowish encapsulated in papery cover.
