Description
It is commonly in Himalaya region, Up and Deccan peninsular areas, it is a twining shrub, numerous branches, the stems are cork-like, bark deeply cracked, glabrous. Leaves are ovate, acute, and glabrous on top. Flowers are yellow, in lateral cymes, often small hairy. The roots are the main part of the plant used in the preparation of Ayurveda medicines, which is buff colored or white in color.
